1. Who we are

Liber8r™ is operated by Plumbing Web Guys Pty Ltd, trading as Tradie Web Guys (ACN 159 392 631, ABN 52 159 392 631), of PO Box 1872, Kingscliff NSW 2487, Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Tradie Web Guys.

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy covers Liber8r. Our main privacy policy covers our other services. Where they differ for Liber8r, this policy applies.

2. What we collect

When you visit this website

• Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting provider records some of this in server logs, and our analytics tags collect it too.
• Campaign information. If you arrive through a link carrying campaign tags (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term or utm_content) or an advertising click ID (such as gclid or fbclid), we record them so we know which campaign brought you here. They are kept in your browser for the current session only, sent to our analytics when you click to start the test, and the campaign tags may be added to the link that opens the test.
• Cookies and similar technologies set by Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. See Cookies and your choices.

There is no form on this website. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number here.

When you take the Liber8r Test™

The Liber8r Test™ runs in ChatGPT, a service operated by OpenAI. You answer questions about how your business gets its work: where leads come from, how much rides on particular customers or relationships, how follow-up and reviews are handled, and how visible the business is in search and on AI platforms. Your Liber8r Score™, Liber8r Map™ and Liber8r Game Plan™ are produced from those answers.

• OpenAI processes your conversation under its own terms and privacy policy, which we don't control. Depending on your ChatGPT settings, the conversation may be kept in your ChatGPT history.
• Where the Liber8r app uses Tradie Web Guys systems to process the test or produce your result, your answers and result are received by us for that purpose.
• Please answer about your business only. Don't include sensitive information, or personal details about customers or other people, in your answers.

When you ask for our help

After you have your result, you can choose to ask Tradie Web Guys for help. Only then will we ask for your contact details, such as your name, business name, email address and phone number, and for your consent to contact you. With your request we receive your Liber8r result and the answers behind it, and campaign information where available, so we can follow up properly without making you repeat yourself.

If you don't ask for help, we don't receive your contact details.

3. Why we collect it and how we use it

• To run the Liber8r Test™ and give you your result.
• To respond when you ask for our help, including contacting you to discuss your result or arrange an Impact Roadmap™ session.
• To understand which campaigns and channels bring people to Liber8r, and to improve the website and the test.
• To keep this website secure and prevent misuse.
• To send you marketing communications, but only where you have agreed or the law allows (see section 8).
• To meet our legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run Liber8r. Each receives only what it needs for its part.

We may also share personal information with:

• our employees and contractors who need it to help you;
• professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers;
• courts, regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it, or to establish or defend our legal rights; and
• a buyer of our business, if we sell all or most of it.

5. Information stored or processed overseas

Personal information we collect may be stored or processed in Australia, the Philippines and the United States, and in other countries where our service providers operate. Some of these countries may not have the same privacy protections as Australia, and you may not be able to seek redress under Australian privacy law against providers outside Australia.

6. Cookies and your choices

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The Google and Meta tags on this website set cookies and similar browser storage, including:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on and your Meta ad preferences. Blocking them won't stop you taking the Liber8r Test™. This website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. We may keep some information for longer where the law requires it, for example for accounting or legal reasons.

8. Marketing

If you ask for our help, we will contact you about that request. We will only send you marketing emails or text messages where you have agreed to receive them or the law otherwise allows. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email info@tradiewebguys.com.au at any time.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

• Access and correction. You can ask for the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
• Deletion. You can ask us to delete your personal information. We'll do so unless the law requires us to keep it, and we'll tell you if that applies.
• Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw your consent to being contacted or to marketing at any time. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
• Complaints. If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first. We'll investigate and reply in writing. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We respond to privacy requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

11. Children

Liber8r is built for business owners. It is not aimed at people under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy when the way Liber8r handles information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
